Family taps into history

The Courier-Mail covered our purchase of 899 Stanley Street, East Brisbane, in November 2025. The Erbacher family had owned the two lots since the 1890s and had never put them on the market. We paid $5 million.

The site runs to 845 square metres and carries a 615 square metre showroom with five car parks. Highgrove Bathrooms has traded from the building since 2008 and has a year left on its lease. Knight Frank ran the campaign and took eleven offers.

Kieran Gartshore told the paper that DAKL's immediate focus is managing the property in the short to medium term.
