Who we are

This policy covers the website at daklgroup.com.au and any enquiry you send us through it. The site is run by DAKL Group Pty Ltd, ABN 54 696 608 152, trading as DAKL Group, of 15 Terrace Place, Murarrie QLD 4172.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, location and the message you write.

When you email or phone us, we keep what you tell us so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

When you visit the site, our hosting and security providers process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. They use it to deliver the site and to stop automated spam getting through the contact form.

You can browse the site without telling us who you are. You can also send a general question without giving your full name, though we need an email address or phone number to reply.

What the site does not do

The site runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no social media pixels. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

How we use it

We use your details to answer your enquiry. If the conversation turns into a sale, a purchase or a partnership, we use them to carry out that work and to keep the records the law requires.

We do not send marketing emails. If that changes, we will ask first, and every message will include a way to stop them.

Who we share it with

A small number of providers handle information on our behalf:

• Webflow hosts the website and stores contact form submissions.
• Cloudflare runs the Turnstile check on the contact form that separates people from bots.

If an enquiry leads to a transaction, we may share relevant details with our lawyers, accountants, agents or other advisers working on it. We will also disclose information where the law requires us to.

Information held overseas

Webflow and Cloudflare are based in the United States and may store or process information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By sending us an enquiry through the site, you are consenting to that.

Cookies

The site does not use cookies for analytics or advertising. Our hosting and security providers may set cookies or read browser information that the site needs to work and stay secure. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though the contact form may not work if you do.

How we store and protect it

Contact form submissions are stored in Webflow's systems and sent to a DAKL email inbox. Access is limited to the people at DAKL who deal with enquiries.

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of our dealings, then delete them. Records connected to a transaction are kept for as long as the law requires.

Seeing or correcting your information

You can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email us at the address below. We will reply within 30 days. If we cannot give you access, we will tell you why.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email us with the details and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if the way we handle personal information changes, and change the date at the top when we do.
