A site assembled from 2021, approved for 226 dwellings across two twelve-storey buildings, and sold in 2026.

How it went

The story is the order of those steps. We bought land that was not yet worth what it became, spent three years turning it into something a builder could start on Monday, and sold it to a builder who wanted to start.

The approved scheme

226 dwellings across two twelve-storey residential buildings, at 75 to 85 Cleveland Street, Stones Corner, about three kilometres from the Brisbane CBD.

Why we sold it

We had an approved scheme and a buyer whose construction pipeline needed a site that could start immediately. Gardner Vaughan Group builds what it develops, and this site suited them better than it suited us at that moment.

What this project shows

Assembling land, resolving a scheme and carrying the planning risk is the part of development that most owners do not want to do themselves. It took us about five years at Stones Corner.

That is the work we are doing again at Stanley Street, and it is what we can do with a site you own.
